While it has been a rollercoaster of a ride for the month of October, ranging from snowfall to almost 80 degree weather, we have been averaging above normal temperatures for most of the month. If the month ended today, our average high would be 61.7°, which is 3.3° above the average. And even our average low of 45° surpasses the average by 4.8°. With an overall average of 53.4°, October 2014 would crack the top ten warmest officially. We still have a few days to go, so it will all depend how warm we get over the next several days.

Just when it starts to begin to feel like the middle of Fall again, we start warming back up. Even with mostly cloudy skies today, temperatures made it up into the mid 60s, which is about 10 degrees warmer than usual.

fter an incredible stretch of dry weather, our streak of almost 12 days of sunshine came to an end today in a big way. Nothing like going from 70s and sunshine to 50s, clouds and rain all day long.
