Summer of 2013

Not only is today the beginning of September but it is also the beginning of meteorological fall. Meteorological fall runs from September 1st until December 1st. The autumnal equinox arrives on September 22nd. The summer of 2013 was a tale of two cities: the first half of the season featured historical flash flooding as well as a historic heat wave. The second half of summer was pretty dry and tranquil.
